Industry Leaders EVA Global and United Call Centers (UCC) Collaborate to Support Electric Mobility Ecosystem Amid EVA Global’s Bankruptcy

We are thrilled to announce that as of January 1st, 2021 EVA GLOBAL has established a new Network Operations Centre (NOC) in Utrecht, The Netherlands. As our trusted partnerships continue to grow and our services develop, EVA’s specialized team in Utrecht will focus on infrastructure operations, most particularly through active monitoring services that ensure the maximum uptime of our clients’ charging infrastructure; as well as carrying out on-site intervention, repair, and maintenance of electric vehicle charge points. As EVA now supports over 40,000 EV charging stations around Europe, the opening of our new location in the Netherlands compliments the sustainable growth of our end-to-end charging infrastructure management operations carried out in Finland and Spain.
Why the Netherlands?
As a proven leader progressing clean tech for smart cities, for years, the Netherland’s has been ahead of the e-mobility game and boasts one of the highest densities of charging infrastructure in the world. Public and private cooperation, together with the Dutch populations’ ease in adopting new technology, led to over 116 thousand EVs, 100,000 plug-in hybrids and 5,000 fully electric utility vans on Dutch roads in the summer of 2020. Today, EVA is very proud to support approximately 30% of the 50,000 public and semi-public charge points available in the Netherlands. By 2030 the number of stations is expected to hit 1.8 million. And, so, together with our partners we are very excited to expand to meet this growing demand in the Netherlands and across the whole of Europe.
Not least, the Netherlands is also internationally renowned for its higher education institutions specialized in clean tech and innovation, which adds yet another reason as to why is it a perfect location for opening EVA’s new Network Operations Centre. Adding to our great pool of talent and expertise that will continue to build on EVA’s momentum for delivering the very best EV charging experience.
